A creator we have verified
Thomas Frank publishes free, long-form Notion courses on YouTube. The ones in our learning library cover pages, databases and formulas for beginners. They are general rather than legal, and they are good at explaining how the database features really work.
That is a recommendation of those videos, not a ranking against other creators we have not reviewed.
Official sources
Notion's own help centre and Notion Academy are authoritative for current features, which change often. They are less opinionated than creators, which is a strength when you want accuracy.
How to judge a Notion teacher for legal use
| Question | Why it matters |
|---|---|
| Is the video recent? | Notion changes its interface and features often; old tutorials mislead. |
| Do they teach databases and relations? | Those drive legal systems; page decoration does not. |
| Do they show real workflows? | Walkthroughs beat feature tours. |
| Do they discuss privacy? | Lawyers need confidentiality as a first-order concern. |
| Do they sell something? | Fine if disclosed; be wary if not. |
Where we fit
We are not a rival creator list. NotionforLawyers sells a template, LawyerOS, and publishes free guides. If you want a legal-specific route, follow our learning plan; for general technique, use the sources above.
A method for finding more
- Search for the specific skill you need, such as relations or formulas, rather than a creator's name.
- Check the upload date and the Notion version shown on screen.
- Cross-check anything surprising against Notion's help centre.
- Keep a short list in a Notion page and note what each source is good for.
We would rather give you a short honest list than a long unchecked one, which is why you will not find rankings or lists of names here that we have not verified.
Frequently asked questions
- Who is the best Notion creator?
- There is no single best. We name only those we have verified and do not rank them.
- Are Notion creators' templates safe for client data?
- A template is just structure, but your own settings decide security. Review everything.
- Are there lawyer-specific Notion creators?
- Some exist; we only list ones we can verify, so check any you find yourself.
- Should I pay for a Notion course?
- Free courses cover most needs. Pay only if you want a specific workflow taught.
